REGENTS PLACE, LONDON NW1
Advised British Land (BL) on their development at Regents Place London NW1.
The issue: BL needed to provide parking for over a 100 tenants whilst developing Regents Place Tower 2. The car park in the basement needed to close whilst the development was carried out above. BL had to provide parking for the 100 tenants ON SITE.
The Solution: We developed a solution utilising car stacker technology to create an additional 100 spaces in an alternative car park on the same site. This meant the need for on site staff to valet park the cars and manage the car park whilst the development went ahead. We provided the car stackers and the staff so that BL was in a position to proceed with the development. Our advice and management effectively enabled British Land to complete their development.
The Result: British Land were able to commence the construction of Tower 2 Regents Place London NW1 which is now completed and fully let.
MERCAT SHOPPING CENTRE, KIRKCALDY, SCOTLAND
The Issue : Tired car park with diminishing sales over the previous 4 years.
The Solution: We advised on a run down car park attached to the Mercat shopping centre in Kirkcaldy. The car park was in poor condition and tariffs had not been looked at for years. We put together a cost effective refurbishment programme and advised on all tariffs as well as that Sunday tariffs should be introduced. The car park was refurbished and our recommendations put in place. Takings rose by over 30% and due to the improved condition of the car park, customer satisfaction levels also rose.
